What can I do for free?

When would I buy an interpretation?
Choose a deep interpretation to understand your Saju; a trip interpretation for new questions, dates or directions; or a companion interpretation for the person travelling with you. After topping up, return to review your saved request. The same result is free to reread.
What if I was born outside Korea?
Birth charts use the birthplace time zone and daylight-saving records (IANA). There is no true-solar-time (longitude) correction, and time-zone history before 1970 is a best historical estimate. Without a known birth time, the hour pillar remains unknown.
What goes to the server or AI?
Your raw birth date and birthplace name stay on your device. Account sync stores the calculated chart (including the UTC offset used). When you request a paid interpretation, the calculated chart, chosen focus and level, any question, and the candidate cities or dates you compare go to our server and an external AI provider. If you pick a trip, its title and dates go too, plus — when “use reflections” is on — its plan notes and the tags you chose in reflections. Compatibility interpretations include the other person’s calculated chart and alias. You consent separately before anything is generated. A luck-cycle start year and age can reveal the exact birth year. The full privacy policy is currently in Korean.
Which languages are supported?
Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Your choice in the top-right globe menu is remembered.
Are Korean Saju, Chinese BaZi and Japanese Shichū Suimei the same thing?
They share the same backbone — stems and branches, the Five Elements and the Ten Gods — but terms, reading habits and conventions such as which day the 23:00 hour belongs to can differ by school and country. 5htrip follows Korean terms and almanac conventions (the 23:00 hour keeps the same day pillar).
What if I don't know my birth time?
The hour pillar stays empty and your chart shows the other six characters. If you were born on a day when the solar term changes, the calculation uses noon, so the year and month pillars and the luck-cycle start can differ. Paid interpretations do not rely on the hour pillar either.
Does the chart or interpretation foretell the future or change my luck?
No. The chart and interpretations are reference material for a traditional reading and self-reflection. They do not predict or guarantee health, money, relationships or exam results, and we do not suggest colours, food or directions can top up luck or a missing element.
What happens to my Bok if an interpretation fails?
If generation fails, the Bok spent is returned automatically. Resending the same request does not charge again if it was already received.
Do my records move to a new phone?
There is no login account, so chart notes, culture records and trip reflections stay on this device and are not restored automatically after reinstalling or changing phones. Purchased Bok and interpretations can only be reopened in the same anonymous session.
Can I download it now?
